Hello, I'm Nikki, the Founder, CEO and Operator of Simply Locs By Nikki TM. I am a Certified SisterlocksTM Consultant of 15+ years and licensed Master Cosmetologist of 25+ years. As a certified Consultant , I am listed on the the Sisterlocks Registry (I encourage checking the registry for anyone who claims to be a Sisterlocks consultant or trainee). I also provide services for the Traditional loc wearers.

I have always had a strong passion for hair and an even stronger desire to provide my clients with a healthy hair care regimen.
For several years I've worn my hair relaxed. It was free flowing and somewhat easy to maintain. It became frustrating trying to find the time to get my own hair relaxed every 6 weeks....actually it became insanely impossible.
I began my "napptural" journey on February 25, 2008. Commonly referred to as napptural because it is tightly coiled hair, which most people refer to as being "nappy", in its natural state. I decided June 2007 that I was tired of the "bad hair days" and the constant "slavery" to my hair and the "creamy crack". It was hard to keep every strand in place, which can be nearly impossible on a rainy, hot and humid, or windy day. So, after some research, I decided that getting SisterlocksTM was the best choice for me. Now, 15 years later, it is not only the best choice for me, it is one of the best lifestyle changes I've ever made. SisterlocksTM makes the transition from relaxed hair to natural, locked hair, easy, painless and very exciting!!
A book called "Nappturosity" by Erin Shell Anthony has become a very good source of information. It gives helpful tips to those who are undecided about going natural, those that are natural with questions, and it also gives good advice on how to maintain a healthy natural hair lifestyle.
